[ using any technology like this is still new to him but it seems easier than going around asking questions. ]
Hi. I just got here… I have some questions?
1. Is this some sort of hell?
2. What am I supposed to do?
3. What are all the penises about?
[ The whole situation is a bit overwhelming for him. Going from a very secluded upbringing to the real world had been tough enough and he hadn’t adjusted and now this one is even less familiar to him. ]

1. No.
2. Whatever you like, for the most part. Though if you'd like some suggestions, I'm willing to offer.
3. They're part of a fertility festival of some sort. They're a tad much for my taste, but it's all in good fun. And the food there is quite tasty too!

[ There's a second message a little bit later. ]
I would really like some suggestions if it isn't a bother.
[ He's easily overwhelmed and this place and all this information is nothing but overwhelming. ]

[And a bit later...]
No bother at all, honey! Before I offer suggestions though, tell me, what are some things you like, hmm? For example, are you the sort of person who likes parties, or would you rather stay at home with a good book? Do you prefer doing things indoors or outdoors? Are you a person who likes to keep busy, or are you more easygoing? That way I can narrow down the list of suggestions for you a bit.

[ The questions are a little difficult for Sawyer. So it's nice that this is over text and he has time to think and work out the answers as best as he could. ]
I like books... I don't like crowds or loud noises. It doesn't matter so much indoors or outdoors... I think? I always try to be busy if I can. There's always something that can be cleaned or something like that.

Well the city and the area around it has some lovely temples and public gardens that are good places to find a bit of peace and quiet. And I know there's a library or two in town as well, though I haven't needed to locate them myself just yet; they would be quiet too, and could provide you with something to read.
And since you enjoy keeping busy, while you're at those gardens or libraries, you may want to see if they're looking to hire any extra help. That sort of work would be terribly dull to me, but it might be right up your alley, and it would provide you with some extra spending money to boot! Or alternately, you could try taking up a hobby. Maybe something artistic, if you're the creative type. Or cooking, if you enjoy good food.

I've never had the chance to figure out what I like and enjoy. It's hard to figure out how to do that now.

Fortunately, if there's one thing The Great Sylvando knows all about, it's enjoyment. You call me up any time you want someone to try something new with, darling; I'll make sure you have a fabulous time!

You are probably right... People do seem too helpful, I think...
[ But he's seen so many strange things. ]
Just doing as I please? That sounds... weird.
[ And difficult. ]

We try... it's not easy, to be suddenly in a strange place! The locals are also very kind.
[ He shrugs, a wry smile ]
Perhaps so! You might find it hard to adjust, if you had a more regimented lifestyle before - but most folk seem to find something to do, eventually.
[ Although he is aware that 'wandering by the shore' is not the usual choice of behaviour ]

[ Regimented is really an understatement. He fidgets. ]
What do you do?

No, this isn't any sort of hell... as far as I've experienced.
(( A second finger joins the first. ))
Establish bonds with others and just live your life.
(( And he holds up a third finger with a grin. ))
It's a festival!

[ the man looks interesting and Sawyer offers a small smile as the message is switched to video. ]
It all sounds simple but it doesn’t feel like it.

No.

3. it seems a bit one-sided. fertility requires more than just a penis. but i guess it might be a little more complicated to make a waffle in the shape of a vagina. i would still eat it.
Re: text | un: me
[ oh. That’s…. ]
what is wrong with regular shaped waffles? Why is there a need to… represent fertility at all?
