...of course, if you can't catch that, it's understandable, as she's currently sat atop the giant steel phallus which stars in the festival's procession. and looking distinctly uncomfortable about having to ask this question; )

C-could... somebody get me down?

( she quickly flips her camera to show the steel member she's precariously perched on (thanks, teleportation!) and then shows the closed door to the shrine opposite her.

( ooc: per the mod response the phallus is stored with the dildo and locked up in the shrine. so it might be difficult to get to her! )

[He'd just nod. He wasn't about to judge, you did what you had to in order to keep yourself alive. And if it meant gripping onto the side of a massive dick, then you grabbed that dick with all you've got.]

[Rude put the magi-comm down on a wall, showing him still, rather than just turning it off and leaving her alone. He stepped up to the doors to the shrine and from inside the sound of the doors rattling would be heard as he tests out just how strong the locks in place were.

He nodded. Stepped back, and then lifted leg and with a grunt he launched a powerful kick at the centre of the doors. There was a crack, but the doors remained where they were.

It would take four more such kicks before the doors finally gave in and crashed open, wood splintering and the doors rendered completely useless.

Rude hurried inside and looked around the dimly lit room and up to the woman atop the giant steel phallus.]

( that does seem to be her only option. man, it might be a good thing she hasn't seen any of her actors in Nippon yet. she's pretty sure some of them would not be able to handle this kind of situation. not that she exactly feels confident in what she's doing, but she's a 24 year old woman! she can handle this!

she sure as heck wasn't prepared to handle the thundering noise of someone — her rescuer, in this case — kicking at the door until it breaks and swings open. (that's one way to do it, she supposes, but surely there was a monk or someone who he could have spoken to?) she startles, scrambling to keep her balance on the round head of the, uh, giant dick in a move that will likely render any future ability to be aroused by that particular part of anatomy impossible.

yeah. definitely a good thing none of her actors are here. Homare-san would be writing a poem instead of offering her a way down... )

E-eh? Are you sure? ( she asks that more out of reflex than anything else. how else was she going to get down? it's too thick to slide down, so, screwing her eyes shut, Izumi flings herself in the stranger's direction with a yell that's equal parts terror and pumping herself up. )

[Needs must. And in the time it took to find someone with a key, she could have fallen and hurt herself. This, as far as Rude was concerned, was the quickest way to get to the woman in distress.

He stood below her, was about to agree he was sure, when she just pitched herself off into the unknown.

Rude steps back and to the left and brought his hands up to give her a relatively soft place to land. He turned as he did, stalling some of her momentum and then carefully lowered her legs to the ground. He did keep one arm on her shoulders though, just to ensure her balance and she was steady enough after being trapped and her fall.]

Will you be alright now?

( if she didn't do it then and there, she'd never have done it. she's certain of that. this is not her idea of fun, but at least he catches her, neatly and impressively, and she feels blessed ground beneath her feet once more.

oh. oh goodness, she's glad to be standing. no slick, steel phallus to cling onto, just ground and the steadying hand of someone. )

( gratitude brings out ingrained habits, what can she say. though, as grateful as Izumi is, she also looks like she doesn't want to stick around here too long. but can you really blame the girl? having to be rescued from a giant dick is not the elegant entrance of which people dream. )

Nice to meet you. That was really impressive! ( catching her, that is. that took some strength and reflexes. ) Do you work out a lot?

( her words are light, casual. a genuine respect for his physical prowess mixed with the kind of "get to know a new friend" small talk that somehow keeps it a million miles from the kind of content that usually takes place in this temple. )

[It was an odd question to ask right off the bat, and one that caused Rude's lips to twitch into an almost smile.

With a gesture of a hand, he waves for her to exit the temple. It was lighter outside, after all. And less stuffy. And less dominated by a giant dick.]

[Rude glanced over his shoulder and back at the shrine before he shook his head and turned his attention to the girl at his side.

She didn't look any the worse for wear, which was a good sign.]

( Somehow, she managed to land safely in both cases, which is kind of miraculous but she's not complaining about that. )
