I was out for a jog, just trying to find a good route, y'know? And I think I went out too far and... I FOUND MY GIRL!


[Prompto looked and sounded excited and he's quick to move forward and, after a little fiddling, he's set his magi-comm down on a wall and hurried back to pose all cool like with a big, yellow and equally cool looking chocobo!

Until Prompto hurries forward again, grabs up the device and comes back to lean into the neck of his chocobo and a less cool and more cheerful scene fills the screen!]


This is Birb guys! And yeah, I know, silly name right? But she liked it!


[Birb lets out a loud kweh and ruffles her feathers, clearly agreeing with Prompto's words. What had originally been a joke was a name she'd liked a lot and now wouldn't answer to anything else. After the fluff she began grooming Prompto's hair, much to his delight and embarrassment. He gives a half-hearted attempt to bat her away but, in the end, lets her mess his hair up as she will.]


That's it! Just wanted to show her off! She's pretty, right?

[Yeah, that would've been pretty confusing. As it is he just nods in response to the replies... but that bit about making memories does give him an idea.]

How much would you charge to take a few candid photos of someone?

For a friend? No charge!

[Prompto grinned wider and waved his camera a little.]

[A friend????]

Ah, he's a bit of a difficult subject. His name is Duo, about my height, a meter long chestnut braid, and the best smile you've ever seen.

[He's not blushing, you're blushing.]

Best smile?

[Prompto had to grin. That was cute. But that was exactly the hook he needed. Taking a picture of someone with a smile that could be called 'best' was definitely worthy of his time!]

Yeah, I can take his picture!

Uh, but why's he a difficult subject? Doesn't he like his picture taken?

[It's really hard not to scowl at that grin, it really is, but he manages because he knows he's asking for a favor.]

I don't think he minds it, but avoiding cameras is a way of life for him. It'll be a challenge.

I like a challenge!

[The best kind of photo ops were the ones that took effort. And he was sure he could get a picture of this Best Smile guy for this Scowly Guy.]
