Does anyone know much about vampires? Not stories but actual vampires...

Where I'm from, vampires are considered dangerous because they prey on humans. The ones I've encountered were hundreds of years old and reclusive. That is to say, they generally didn't interact with humans other than to hunt. Each has a particular prey preference and manner of disposing of the bodies. The last one encountered threw them in the sea. The only truth from the stories is that they drink blood and cannot tolerate sunlight.

There was nothing those vampires were able to do to mitigate the sun's effects?

I am a researcher, yes. But not a scientist.

[ Lennon lets Henry in when the other arrives at the treehouse. It's very much modern on the inside with a heavy hand in nature display, though. Somewhere lurking nearby is probably Daeshim unless he's gotten distracted otherwise. In any case, Lennon leads Henry in and offers him a seat on the couch. ]

Do you want anything to drink?

Tea or water would be fine.

(( He looks around, absolutely delighted by the place. He's tickled that it's a treehouse, too! So whimsical! ))

What kind of tea do you prefer?

[ Lennon asks as he gets out the electric kettle to start preparing. ]

Black tea is just fine.

(( Oh, but that kettle certainly catches his attention. ))

[ Lennon gets down two mugs for them and sets about setting up two steepers, one with black tea and one with green tea. ]

There's sugar and honey on the table. We have cream if you want that...

This is fine.

(( By 'this' he means the sugar, which he reaches for to put a liberal amount in his tea. ))

[ Lennon smiles and then his smile falters briefly shaking his head at the other's words. ]

[ Lennon licks his lips and with honey added to his own tea he settles down and sips at it. ]
