[When she feels him settling next to her she turns around. Melissa is about to acknowledge his statement, but... she's too enamored by those ears!]

I kind of expected something like this. I spent a few months with cat ears, but then they disappeared. So these might be something similar.

[Melissa shifts a bit. Her arm wraps around him as she kisses him between the kitty ears before holding him in a more proper hug.]

If anyone tries bullying you for them just let me know. I'll make them eat dirt.

[And then she reaches to grab him in her arms and wrestle him on the futon. Dinner be damned.]

[The tail puts him as a clear disadvantage, because he really doesn't want to fall on it and bend it funny -- he had one long enough last time to know that hurts! But he is stronger than he looks, and giggles aside, he's going to try and pin her down instead.]

After a bit of rolling around Aether comes out on top. With her back to the futon she stares up in a bit of awe. How can such a tiny body overpower her like that? Not that she hates it, it's simply surprising.
