My, such an interesting way to communicate with others.

[Someone has been watching the network for a while before actually going about and making a post.]

Now if those in the strange white hoaris are to be believed, all of us are refugees from other worlds.

So I'm curious... What kind of worlds do you come from?

I come from a world similar to this one, only I suppose it's a couple hundred years in the past, and yokai are only a myth.

"America?" I think I've heard that word before when Lord Nobunaga was talking with some Portuguese traders.

So cities do eventually get established there?

Oh. Yes. We've had cities for a long time now.

[He's not sure about exact dates since history isn't his specialty but he's pretty sure of that.]

Were there no cities yet in your time?

None that I'm aware of.

[For all he knew there were some native cities, but they were probably different from anything he knew.]

I think I heard in passing that the Spanish had a few colonies there.

That was many years ago now. America is its own independent country.

So it would seem. At least a few centuries, if you are in the future of the date of this world.

Interesting to hear how a land that is just being explored will one day turn into a country of its own.

Isn't that how it is with a lot of places? People start to settle there after they discover it and create their own culture to unite them.

Think about it. When you are establishing a new culture what happens to the one that is already there? Such a change cannot be pleasant for those who already live there.
