[All of her grace has abandoned her and for no reason except she angered an ayakashi! She isn't even sure what she did. But now she looks very much like a disgruntled fairy, sitting on the floor, her robes bunched around her legs.]
Why is everything so dark?! Will someone turn on the light already?
[She also hasn't realized that she is blind. Attempting her magic doesn't help her either. She just ends up raining hail on her head.]
Ah!

Ah!

....one more before sleep
Ai! Well... they do tend to not be permanent, I am given to understand? Is there ought I can do to aid you?
<3 <3 <3
If you come here, I can guide you?

Is there anything you like? I am not so good as my brother, but I can manage basics well enough.

Will you tell me how to reach you? I will let my kinsfolk where I am going, and do some shopping. My fosterling is a healer, if you think that might help?

[Now she has to remember her apartment number. Oops.]
The apartments... The ones they offer. I'm there. Ask at the front desk for Jin Mi?

[ He will tell Elrond anyway, maybe his fosterling has advice? ]
I know the ones yes - I will see you soon?

[She almost forgot her manners. Her non-existent manners!]
aCTION???
[ And sure enough, he will shortly be knocking politely at her door, complete with supplies ]
Lady Jin Mi?
Goddess Elf Action Go Go Go
How aggressive! [Rubbing her forehead, Jin Mi opens the door.] My lord?
don't tell him she's a goddess tho he'll panic XD
[ Gentle hands come to grip her hand, guiding it down to rest on his forearm so he can guide her back inside her home. One is noticably scarred. ]
I am no lord. [ Anymore ]
But here, would you like to sit while I prepare some food for you? Or I can simply keep you company a while, if you prefer.
thankfully her powers are mostly sealed and she's very naive/innocent.
I'm told it doesn't matter what we were before. We can be whoever we want.
[The offer is difficult and she points at what she hopes is a chair.]
If you move that towards the kitchen, we can keep talking?
Excellent another baby for him to fuss over XD
I can certainly move a chair over for you, milady - you were pointing at a shelf. Here, sit you here a moment while I move a chair over, and then I will help you to the kitchen.
she thought she was a grape elf! life is crazy, mister elf.
[Sighing, she settles on a chair and waits for him.]
You have a nice voice. Do you sing?
He is a little concerned she thought she was a grape XD
[ He reassures, and he makes sure to deliberately make noise as he moves around, so she can track him ]
I do, yes. I am a bard, by training, a minstrel.
Should she tell him about how she spent her childhood buried in the soil?
[She leans forward to listen, her hands bunching in her gauzy robes.]
We don't have much music in the Water Mirror.
he will internally scream XD
[ He hums, pottering around and putting things away before coming back to lead her into the kitchen, where he's set up a table and chair for her ]
No? That is a pity - music is such an integral part of my life that I cannot imagine a life without.
What? It's healing! Just add a little water...
[She holds onto his arm, trusting him to guide her. In her kitchen, he will find plenty of fresh vegetables as well as herbs growing in...numerous little pots.]
What can you do with it?
S C R E A M
[ He settles on a quick stir fry ]
'Do' with it? Well... I mean mostly I just sing. But tis true that what makes a true bard is the ability to hear, and so to interact with, the Song, the Music of the world itself.
Sproutsprout~!
[But she doesn't foresee herself being that powerful. Little does she know.]
Songs can be spells! Put your emotion behind it, Mister Maglor, and the elements might move for you.
Your World Is So Weird (tm)
[ His voice is audibly confused ]
In your world also, then?
[ He murmurs, and his movements slow, briefly, something sad coloring his voice ]
Oh, that I know. One can do much, if one knows the right way to ask the Song.
[ Although Maglor used it for much darker purposes ]
You have no idea.
[Which is still a shock for her!]
Yours too? [She beams until she hears that...strange note...in his voice. What does that mean?]
The Song...? Is that an immortal in your world?
He Is Concerned (tm) XD
There's something like tension in his voice, although the sound of cooking does not stop ]
Your father is... a water maia?
[ ..................she doesn't seem like one of Ulmo's. Or Osse's, for that matter. Uinen's maybe? Although he can't exactly see either of them cheating on each other with a Incarnate, and he didn't think maia could procreate within themselves... Salmar??? ]
No? [ ... would not a maia know what the Song was? ] It is the Song. That which is, which was, the foundations of the world and what makes it and sustains it.
It's gonna be okay. Maybe. >.>
Is that a fish? I don't think he has fins or gills. But I bet he can be underwater just fine! I'll ask him.
[Spending time with her recently discovered father is one of her favorite things to do. He's warm and kind - and her aunt is lovely too.]
I...don't know about it. I'm sorry. There's a lot I don't know about. I was kept in the Water Mirror for four thousand years.
He Remains Concerned (tm) XD
The maiar... well. The ainur are the spirits of the world, those who helped Eru, the One, to first Sing the world into being, and then for love of it descended into it, to be it's life as it is theirs.
[ .....what even is your world girl ]
You were... in a mirror?
