Heya everyone! Hope I'm not interrupting anything?
[Aerith appears with a bright smile and a strange question for everyone.
She'd been thinking about this for a little while now and had decided on a whim just to throw it out into the world and hope for the best!]
I was hoping to find someone who was handy with a sword to help me!
... Aaand maybe help me find one of my own. I used to have one. [A shake of her head and a laugh, remembering when that was...] You see, before here I was 'somewhere else'. I had a friend there, Nico, who was teaching me swordplay.
I've been thinking of picking that back up!
So I was just wondering, if anyone had any spare time, and a spare weapon, they'd be willing to pick up where Nico left off?

That is true. But I see that my brother has already spoken - you will find no finer swordsman in all of Arda, saving perhaps my uncle Nolofinwe, who is, of course, not here!
[ And maybe a Reborn Glorfindel, but Maglor has never seen the Balrog Slayer fight ]
And he is an experienced teacher, too. If any can teach you the blade, it will be him.
But I am happy to show you what I know of gem-making, Aerith, although I don't know if we will be able to get the exact things we need here!

[Did she sound a little excited? Yes. She adored Maglor and to know that his brother was one who had offered to teach her was wonderful! She wondered if he was as nice as Maglor?]
I'll be happy to learn anything you can teach me, Maglor! Don't worry about us not having the exact things we need, I never did, even before. Feanor was such a good teacher and taught me how to use things I have available. It shouldn't be too hard!

Aye, Maedhros is indeed my older brother. Feanor was my father - he was my first teacher too. [ He smiles a little sadly - father hadn't stayed long at all, in the end. Just long enough, he supposes ]

Calmer. I'm... glad.

[She looked a little sad then. Aerith hadn't realised he was in this world too! Though somehow she didn't think he would remember her. If it had taken a while for her memories to come back surely the same could be said of him? If he was even the same Feanor she knew...]
I'm so glad he was. And that you were able to see him.

[ He shrugs, a little awkwardly ]
There's much between us, now.

[She sighs softly and kind of wishes she could just reach out and give Maglor a hug.]
I'm sorry, Maglor. Perhaps he'll return one day?

I think this place was probably too small to contain him. But at the least I know he is healing.
But you said you missed him? It wasn't here then, that you met?

Maybe that's something to talk about when we meet next? It... it is a very long story.

Should I come around now?

I'll have some tea prepared. Come on by, Maglor.
and then we action it up on the other thread? lol
Would you like to start or shall I? I have an inbox we can use!
haha I was thinking we can use the gem thread as the follow for this one?
