[He doesn't stop to knock at the door but instead comes scurry straight to where he's guessing his friend to be- in his study.]

(( Since he's actually expecting Jingyi, when he hears the door open he rises from his chair to greet his enthusiastic friend. Henry is, indeed, in the study, but he's already set aside whatever he was studying to give his full focus to Jingyi. ))

Well, it all started with a surprise I planned for Gaura. I had to keep him out of the house until dark so he would see the lamp in the window when we arrived home. Once we were in the house, he was crying from happiness and he brought out the rings!
