[Poor Xingchen isn't immune to stray illnesses - though his golden core is strong enough to heal him quickly. However he has had a tough week regardless and his hair is loose against his fever red cheeks.]

To those who haven't seen me attending to my usual duties, I apologize. I have been feeling under the weather.

[He blinks suddenly, realizing he pressed video instead of voice. Ah. Bowing his head, his long rabbit ears pressed against his head, he looks ashamed and embarrassed.]

I'm... well. Please don't worry.

Me? [He tilts his head a bit, some of the feathers in his hair showing up more because of that.]

I never really saw a reason to be bitter or angry honestly.

[gentledawn]

[If only he could say likewise. Xingchen had...found his rage. And his bitterness.]

I pray you never will, my feathered friend.

[He gently ruffles said feathers.]

[pinkblinded]

[His head dips a bit at having his feathers ruffled but he laughs softly.]

I've been getting more and more of them lately.

[gentledawn]

How shocking. [He teases, ending his ruffling by caressing Gaura's cheek.] Soon you will have wings and a tail!

[pinkblinded]

A tail? You think so? [The wings aren't a surprise really but he's never thought about a tail being involved too.]

[gentledawn]

Most birds do have tails. [To even out the weight of their little bodies.] It might not be big.

[pinkblinded]

I'll have to make sure there's room for my wings and tail along with Henry's tail in our bed...

[gentledawn]

[He bites his lip to keep from laughing.] You will both fit just fine.

What does his tail look like?

He has a fox tails and fox ears now. The tail is very fluffy actually.

[His smile says he adores it.]

[gentledawn]

[More foxes! Truly adorable. Xingchen's rabbit ears wiggle.]

Drape it over you. They can be quite warm.

He does like to wrap me up in it already.

[And he loves that Henry does too honestly.]

[gentledawn]

[He smiles softly, eyes brighter.]

I love my Zichen's tail too. I have ridden on his back as a rabbit.

[pinkblinded]

We haven't fully transformed so I don't know yet if I'd be able to ride on his back or not.

[There's all kinds of pink birds out there!]

[gentledawn]

It's amusing when you can spend time as animals together.

[Xingchen has enticed his wolf husband into bouncing on the bed.]

I imagine, as a bird, you could.

[pinkblinded]

There's some large pink birds out there. So I want to make sure that I don't hurt him.

[That's Gaura. Always worrying about everyone around him at all times.]

[gentledawn]

I know you will show each other care. [Even if he is too big, they can cuddle.] A fox and a bird sound like a fine match to me.

[pinkblinded]

[That makes him laugh softly.] Predator and prey honestly. I think that you and Zichen are the same.

[He's not entirely sure what animal Zichen is but it's definitely a predator!]

[gentledawn]

There is no danger to you with Henry just as there is no danger to me with Zichen. [His wolf plays with him and it's wonderful.]

I think predators tend to be...loyal...to their mates. We are lucky.

[pinkblinded]

[That makes him laugh again.]

Henry is very loyal. He's even given me a star lamp so I always know when I've reached home.

[gentledawn]

[The thoughtfulness makes him smile and he pulls his friend into a hug again.]

He must love you. I'm glad for you.

[pinkblinded]

He does. We're engaged now because of it. Sometimes he worries that he's not enough for me but truly he's enough and so much more.

[gentledawn]

Those concerns can be helpful in a way. They mean he will never take you for granted. [He feels similarly towards Zichen. Getting too comfortable can be dangerous for a loving relationship.]

[pinkblinded]

Maybe so. [He doesn't mind so long as they both can be happy.] I'm just happy to have him in my life. He means the world to me.

[gentledawn]

I pray you spend a lifetime together. [He closes his eyes tiredly. Just then a big orange cat lets himself into the room, meowing.]

[Tucking Xingchen in more, he notices the animal and goes to collect it so that way he can put it with his friend to offer him warmth and company.]

Come be with Xingchen, little one. He should rest and you can watch over him.
