[Tay's wearing a silver chain necklace, a pretty silk robe that's been left open, has a couple rings on his fingers, and he's holding a coffee mug. If anyone recognizes it, the background is Gaura and Henry's dining room. He gives the screen a warm smile and speaks in a gentle tone.]

Alright ladies and gentlemen, my name is Tay. I'm new here and I need to know the essentials!

I need to know where the party scene is. What clubs do you recommend? Where has the best drinks and music? If you'd rather show me, even better. I promise you, I can keep up.

Also, anyone know where I can get some more modern clothes?

Whatever you can tell me, I'd be most grateful. Thank you and I hope you all have a lovely day.

[Fashionable, flirty, and fun. This guy is a keeper.]

You know Kinn?

[No offense but Riley does not seem like Kinn's type. He's way too.. happy.]

How did you two meet?

He got hit by a flying pig when he first arrived. So I helped him out and answered his questions. We became friends from it and now he's like my big brother.

[Which is now made all the more fun by the fact that he knows Kinn is definitely Mafia. It's super great after he made up a whole story about it.]

He told me you're a friend of his and that you're here now.

A what? For real?

[His eyes widen at this young man claiming he's so fond of Kinn. No offense to his best friend, but making friends like this isn't what he's known for! If only the guy had a clue what being Kinn's family member was all about.]

Wow.. well.. that's very sweet of him. It's true, though. We've been friends since we were little kids and grew up together. He's high maintenance but we make it work.

[Totally kidding. Tay's the high maintenance one.]

An actual flying pig.

[Which hit Kinn right in the face but he'll spare his brother's dignity at least a little bit by now sharing that detail.]

He did have nice things to say about you so the childhood friend thing definitely tracks.

[And it's great that Kinn isn't alone here anywhere.]

[He laughs and shakes his head. It's really hard to picture that being a real thing, but so is half the other stuff he hears about this place.]

Is that something that happens around here on the regular? Should I be on the look out for pigbirds?

[He takes a sip of his coffee.]

How much do you know about him?

Probably. You never know here.

[Sipping at his drink, he considers what he should really be sharing then decides to be vague since they're in public.]

He's exactly rich and comes from a big name family. He's got an older and younger brother. His cousin is also here but you probably know him. Right now he's got an amazing boyfriend who used to be his bodyguard. Also he does things like use chairs to do pushups on when he doesn't have a gym. He's a badass.

[Another sip and he smiles.]

Also he's super bad at hiding things from anyone who has ever seen any Asian drama ever.

[He snorts hearing Kinn was showing off with the chairs. He's seen him do that before and yes, it was impressive.]

Yeah, Porsche is wonderful and they are perfect for each other.

[He feels that familiar touch of envy but pushes it away.]

What do you mean?

Did you know that he basically acts like any rich crime boss in dramas? And he thinks he totally doesn't.

[He laughs a bit.]

It's really funny actually.

[Tay straight up chokes on his coffee! Sputtering, he waves one of his hands as he coughs. The hot liquid! It burns!]

[Riley blinks in surprise at that.]

You okay there?

[And Kinn says TAY is bad because he used his name on the network??

He takes a couple breathes and nods.]

You didn't say that to him did you?

Sure I have. Repeatedly.

[How is this guy not dead? Kinn is so giving him a good explanation for this!]

Huh.

[He points at the sketches.]

Show me some more of your drawings.

[Reaching into his bag, he pulls out the stack of papers so he can show the different ideas he's come up with.]

Basically I go and give the person pictures I've drawn and then they work on trying to recreate it after getting my measurements. It's pretty fun and lets me try out different things. They seem to really like it too.

[Well.. that was easy. Would it have been just as simple to shake his keys in front of Riley's face?

He scoots closer and examines some of the designs. He sets a couple aside, like the jeans and a couple of shirts.]

How quickly does it take them to make these? You have to understand, I live for fashion back home and this place is driving me crazy! I have two housemates and one dresses from the Victorian era- which can be sort of cool but not always- and the other just doesn't seem to care what he wears at all. So it's not a lot of fun to borrow their things. Plus their stuff is too big.

Oh you live with Henry and his fiancé?

[What? That's the only Victorian style person he knows here!]

I'd say depend on the style and the number of outfits it can take anywhere from a day to a week. So if you want a lot done you'll have to wait longer. But if you want to slowly build up your wardrobe then you can start adding things right away. Just keep in mind that they have to work with the fabric they have here so things like denim? Out. But they can make blue pants that look similar.

[He smiles warmly when Riley mentions Henry.]

Yes! That's them. Have you met Gaura? They're both sweethearts. How odd that you know them as well.

[Weird.]

How do we get them to figure out how to make denim around here? It can't really be that hard, can it?

Henry and I talk about the Fae quite a bit when we meet up. I haven't had the chance to meet Gaura yet though.

[He leans forward and supports his chin on his hand.]

Well denim probably exists but it's just not a fabric that would have been popularized here. It's something that was primarily a western fabric save for dungaree in India which is a similar type of fabric. Cotton is a product you'd find in Nippon but explaining how to weave it into denim is another topic altogether.

The Fae? What do you mean?

[He chuckles, finding the random fabric tutorial amusing.]

What about leather? Think they have any sleek black leather? Those were my favorite pants.

You'd probably know of them more as fairies. It's the most common name for them around the world.

[Riley thinks about the leather question for a second.]

I think that should be possible. It probably would have a shine to it the way they can manage in our time. But it would still be possible to have truly leather pants here. And probably cheaper than buying them in modern day.

.. that's not usually how I hear the term, no. But you're literally speaking of the mythical creatures with wings and fly around with Peter Pan?

[He frowns a little. He likes the shiny part, but he's getting the idea he's really going to have to adjust some of his preferences to live here.]

I wish I could just find a way to magically get my wardrobe from home. My family is in the jewelry business and I feel really strange being here without my collection. I've worn these same pieces almost every day.

[As he talks, he selects a couple more items from Riley's collection. With some more experience, this guy could really be a fashion designer.]

That's one interpretation of them. But yeah, the mythological creatures. I'm one of them.

[You know, just FYI.]

You might be able to get pieces of it over time. People end up getting things all the time from their worlds here. But you can probably find some amazing pieces of jewelry here too if you keep looking.

[For a brief moment, Tay thinks they're still talking about the old term for a gay person, but then he realizes that's not it.]

Wait, you are one?

[His attention is totally derailed from thinking about the fashion to this novel idea.]

Hm? Oh yeah. I'm a Fae.

[He smiles and shrugs a bit like it's no big deal.]

Really?

[He studies Riley's face a moment.]

What does it mean to be a Fae? How are you different than a human?
