[He sighs heavily as he messes with the device he was given. He's never been very good with these things. Pushing his hands through his hair, he tries to at least get it recording somehow before giving up and just trying.]

Hey. If anyone out there can hear me I'd like some help finding a way to the a forest of some kind. My sense of smell is really thrown here so I haven't been able to figure out which way is up let alone which way is not city.

[He offers a smile but his eyes, though seeming bright, don't seem to ever focus on the screen before he fumbles with things to try to turn if off.]

Crap. What is the off...?

[He ends the recording completely on accident. But it's also what he wants so...great?]

I've seen the wonders. I got to watch a group of people take in a tiny orphaned child and raise him like their own.

[Silvio smiles sadly.]

My eyes died with them. So if I need to find a new way to discover the wonders of the world then I don't mind. The pain is just a small price to pay now.

Pain? [If he needs to be selfish about this, he will. Such a good man deserves to see.] Are you in pain?

All the time. Some days are worse than others.

[Just how body eternally rejecting the silver but not being able to purge it.]

[gentledawn]

[He grits his teeth, immediately concerned.]

Will you allow me to examine your eyes?

[typhlotic]

Examine them? If you want to. I don't mind.

[He doubts anything can be done aside from dealing with the pain. Which he'd welcome honestly...]

[gentledawn]

I will be gentle. I have pain relievers too, so we can at least dim your discomfort.

[He remembers living in pain, his eye sockets bleeding...never healing... Leaving another in that state isn't going to happen.]

Really? That would be nice honestly...

[Dulling the pain sounds really amazing. There are some days where is just agonizing.]

You're not alone, my friend. If nothing else, we will see that you are comfortable.

[...and tucked into one of the extra beds.]

[He gives a small smile.]

Thanks. Hopefully we should head your way soon. You can look at my eyes then.

[gentledawn]

I will make sure a nice warm meal is prepared. Rely on Zichen; he won't fail you.

Alright. I'll see you then okay? I'm sure you'll know when we show up.

[These two are an item so he's confident they'll communicate somehow.]

I look forward to seeing you in person. [And fussing. Lots of fussing!]

[Just don't mind when he's sniffing around the temple when he gets there, Xingchen. It's just how he gets to know where he is and avoid getting lost!]

[Don't mind when he embraces his new friend and guides him to the dining area! The meal will be complete with a pain-relieving tea - because he doesn't forget his promises.]

[Oh...oh the hug is nice. Because he hasn't had one of those in around a hundred years now. Don't mind the hesitation before he returns it with a smile.]

Wow...the food smells so good...

[He's saying that before they've even reached the dining area too. His nose is that strong.]

[Xingchen is a good hugger. He has had plenty of practice in Jikan and he finds it...comforting. Especially for those who have been lonely for a long time.]

You have a strong nose! [He takes hold of Silvio's arm and guides him merrily.] I like simple fare, but I've learned how to add spices to make it tastier.

I'm a werewolf. It comes with the territory.

[Silvio gives him a bit of a smile and a shrug but he doesn't stop him from guiding him. This is his first time here and he appreciates it while he learns his way around.]

[gentledawn]

A... [That thought trails off and he smiles faintly. No wonder Zichen was drawn to him!]

You can sit here. [He pulls out a chair to make it easier. His guest will probably appreciate it more than a simple cushion.]

Has Zichen told you about Kizuna magic?

Werewolf. A creature that can freely turn into a wolf and who goes wild when the moon is full.

[Sitting down, he tilts his head a bit.]

I went to the orientation thing. So I learned some about it there.

[gentledawn]

While we do not go wild, per se, Zichen and I can understand.

[He shyly reaches for Silvio's hand.]

See? [Guiding the hand to his rabbit ears, he flushes.] I have become a rabbit and...a swan...thus far.

[Gently, he touches the ears, curious but just exploring. He can smell the flush but he doesn't draw attention to it.]

I've been smelling animals on so many people here that it's been confusing. These are kizuna things? The animal features?

[gentledawn]

Yes. [Xingchen stays still save for how his ears perk and wiggle.] The animal traits seem to be connected to the person's personality. My Zichen can become a wolf and that form suits him well.

[typhlotic]

Really? So you're...like a rabbit? Or a swan? Those are two really different personalities. [He finally lowers his hand. It's almost like he can see Xingchen with how he focuses on him but it's just a trick he's learned over the years.]

[gentledawn]

I believe those choices had to do with parts of my personality as well as various bonds. They are both pure white - for me, anyway - and while rabbits can be swift, swans are graceful. [His flush intensifies. Talking about himself is difficult.] I am both as a Cultivator.

Cultivator?

[He doesn't mean to fluster his new friend but that's not a word he's familiar with...]
