[Going to his pile on things, he grabs two books. Both he brings over but he flips through one to get to the right picture and hands it to Kinn before getting on the bed with him to cuddle.

He explains which one is Keats, Shelley, and Poe. And he even shows off George. When he's done, he gets out a sweet pastry to take a bite of it.]

They're great, right?

[He's still amazed by how easily he's accepted this. Was it because of Porsche's influence or the place itself.]

They all look really nice. I've never had pets, myself.

[Brothers and bodyguards don't count. ]

You'll really like them. They're really well behaved. I even found out that I'm Shelley's favorite!

I'm glad you have some more of home here with you, Nong.

[ Kinn can be happy for Riley. Things seem to be falling into place for the younger man. ]

So is it safe to say that you two might prefer one room and not two? Or maybe two because of the animals?

[He smiles at his brother then rests his head on his shoulder. Of course he's made sure to place himself on the uninjured side for this.]

Um...we haven't really talked about it. I thought maybe two so he'd have his own space. But now things are expanding and the animals...

[Riley hums in though.]

Maybe two anyway? That way even if we share a room we'll always have space for everyone who wants to be with us.

[Even if it just means someone needing to come get cuddles. Like he's going to insist for his brother.]

[ He easily winds an arm around Riley for those cuddles and pauses in his snacking.]

That's a good idea. So how goes it with you two, anyway? And you're still seeing the scorpion tail guy?

Xie? Yeah. I'm dating both of them now. And I've talked with both of them and they're okay with me seeing both of them without them being involved with each other as long as the two of them can be friends.

[It's kind of what he expected originally to happen when he first wanted to date Xie. That or to be told to get lost. He would have understood either way. That's not how things had gone and he wonders if it would have been better if it had started that way.

He doesn't know and he knows he can't change the past.

Riley shrugs a bit and eats more of his pastry.]

I just felt so drawn to them when I met them. It just felt so right with both. I figure as long as I keep my heart and time and words open to both then we'll be okay. Xie wants to live with Baiyi and Will wants to live with us. So I'm going to accept that and enjoy how happy I am with them.

[ Sits there, thinking about it. ]

I think it takes a very special person to be able to do that. Share your heart like that.

[It's not something he could do, that's for sure! ]

Romantic love is complicated enough with just one other person. I can't see managing it with more than one and have everyone come out unharmed. At least not for me.

[It feels really good to hear something like that. That he's a very special person to be able to share his heart the way he is. It makes him smile and he gives his big brother a kiss on the cheek.]

That's okay. I think as long as you're happy with who you're with and taking care of them then it's okay that you can only be monogamous. That's special too.

[His face scrunches up at the kiss, but lets it happen. ]

I'm happy. Really happy with him.

[The problem is... he's not here. ]

And you're going to have him again. We're all going to help you make the best home ever for him when he gets here.

[Riley rests his head on his shoulder again.]

Do you want to see my ideas? Then you can help decide what is going to make him smile the most when he sees it.

[Before he does down that rabbit hole. ]

Sure. He likes motorcycles.

[ He tastefully advoids stating that Porsche likes guns, too. ]

[Bringing out the other sketchpad and a pencil, he shifts so he can open a blank page and have Kinn able to see what he's drawing.]

I haven't drawn something like that yet but let's see what I can come up with.

[And he starts creating a scene of a rider on a motorcycle moving driving through a city at night.]

With paints I'll be able to add colors to this too. Like the signs and the lights of the motorcycle... It'll look cool painted on one of the walls either inside or outside.

[He watches the drawing come into existance. ]

How about... the background all blurry and a sharp focus on the bike?

Kind of like a little streaky? Like the bike is rushing past it all?

[He starts adjusting things as they talk about it so Kinn can see the idea come to life.]

Yes, exactly. All the lighting stretched out with the focus on the bike. Red. He likes Ducati.

[Chuckles softly in amusement. ]

Calls himself Porsche, but he's not into cars like this.

[Riley takes a second to remember what a Ducati looks like then starts on adding those details to the bike. But he does giggle a little.]

I love that honestly. Named after a car but he's into bikes.

I haven't figured out that story yet. We were busy back home.

Oh I bet you were.

[Yes he knows that Kinn is serious too. But he has to tease him.]

[ You, Riley, will get that Theerapanyakul Stare that usually chills the blood of his enemies. ]

Yes, navigating air turbulence, gunfights, betrayal and trust.

[Usually. But it just makes Riley smile at him before patting his brother's leg.]

That stuff too.

[ So he tries to look affronted. ]

You're supposed to at least put forth a tiny bit of effort to declare that I'm intimidating and terrifying.

I saved you from a flying pig, remember? That killed the whole intimidating and terrifying thing day one.

[ Not. Fair. Watch the pout. ]

I was off my game that day. Anyone would be when there's a damn pig flying at your face.

Says the guy who has then been sweet and protective of me ever since then. Aaaand even made me his little brother.

[Riley pauses in his drawing to grin at him.]

You're not even the tiniest bit scary to me.
