[ Zhou Zishu manages a smile that is mostly normal today - helped, perhaps, but the new robes he'd discovered upon returning home. One of the last purchases his husband had made for him but had squirreled away in a closet to give him later, he presumes. So similar to ones he'd had back home.

But also due to the diligent care of the hoard of people who have been fussing over him. ]

Good evening. I returned to the Four Seasons Manor a few days ago and with the colder weather thought a celebration of friends and family - be they blood or found - might be a welcome diversion.

I am happy to host it here at the Manor. However, I will need help in the form of skilled cooks.

Zishu smiles again, the expression warming as his gaze lowers and he inclines his head politely. ]

And should anyone need a warm place to stay, there is some room left here in the Manor.

[ Of course, the moment he had showed up home he'd been tackled practically and clung to. She had no intention of leaving his side, not yet anyway. She might not understand emotions but she is going to cling to him like her life depended on it. ]

[ He'd expected both pounce and cling. And a punch for not coming home sooner no matter how much she wanted him home.

So naturally Zishu doesn't bother trying to pry her away from him. And he doesn't want to. He lets himself lean on her, mostly in a playfully dramatic way.

But he also lets her fuss over him in her own special way. He knows she doesn't understand emotions very well, but that doesn't matter. They're family. ]

[ That tail of hers swishes back and forth even as she clings to him. He does, however, get that punch to the shoulder and a half-hearted pout out of her before she's back to clinging to him.

Human emotions were a pain to deal with and she's not sure what the turmoil of emotions are that are coursing through her at the moment. ]

[ If anything? She was always good at taking care of Kexing. So, she'll take care of Brother Zhou too. He was, after all, like a second father to her. ]

[He wears dark robes, a white mask settled on the front of them. But beneath the hooded robe, his collar is noticeably bare. He is not ideally dressed for truly cold climes.]
