What an interesting set of circumstances! I thought it would be at least another century or two before I saw a place like this~ (No, longer. Maybe he was never meant to see or be in a place so advanced? Ah well, beggars can't be choosers!

Why shouldn't we speak of them publicly? We're likely surrounded by them; they fertilize the ground beneath your feet!

As I outlined previously, it is ghoulish. While death is indeed an every day occurrence, it is on one that people speak of in polite society. As it stands, we have those who have passed previously that are now alive as they were. It seems somewhat indelicate to speak of coffins so excitedly.

I have no patience for "polite society"! (He sounds a bit angry - a rarity and an oddity for him. But the emotion passes; it's an old one, after all, and he can only sustain it for short periods.) They shouldn't fear what awaits 'em. It's just a part of life.

And coffins are only beds~
