What an interesting set of circumstances! I thought it would be at least another century or two before I saw a place like this~ (No, longer. Maybe he was never meant to see or be in a place so advanced? Ah well, beggars can't be choosers!

Do entertain me. I love a good show! (All of the struggling and complaints are just signs of vibrant, stubborn life, in his opinion.) You may call me Undertaker - and, yes, I am more than happy to provide those services should they be needed. They're not easy, you know. The coffin has to fit just right. You don't want the body rolling about and giving someone a fright!

That depends on what you say and do. It's too early to say if we will or not.

Heehee what if I take a real liking to ye and try to fit you in a coffin? Some people get offended by that.

[ Xiao paused a bit because okay, that was weird but then again, this was not the run of the mill mortal. Hell, he was sure this man was an immortal of some kind. Probably. ]

Struggle! Struggle as long as ye like. It's better that way. (He snorts to himself and taps a long black nail against his cheek.) I never bury what's alive. That would be wrong an' I like seein' life flourish~

You have morals in that sense, at least. [ Xiao nodded his head, looking a bit thoughtful. ] Long as you give the dead the respect they deserve once they pass on, I have no qualms with how you do it.
[ Oh he's been alive so, SO long that he's seen many humans die. Some by his hand in the past and he's still haunted by it today. ]

People are...silly. They waste time when they should be hurrying forward.
(The clock is always ticking, isn't it? Lies get in the way and delay the truth. Which can lead to intriguing outcomes, but he doesn't like lies interfering with his work.)
My guests are treated with naught but respect! I dress them pretty and I've never had a complaint.

[ Too often people tended to dwell on the past and he thought it was ridiculous, to say the least. Sure he was plagued by sins from his own past but it was unavoidable, but something he could handle as he didn't share a short lifespan like mortals did. ]
