I don't know how these people think we can trust them after they just snatch us out of our prospective donuts. At least it feels nice out here.

[Yeah, it would if you have 103F temp and rising.]

[Her voice fades out as she tries to think]

This sucks. I can't think. I need help. This fever's too high. I don't even know how I'm standing.

[And the feed jars suddenly, landing hard on the ground beside a hand that's alarmingly still.]

[Maybe get something to help with that fever too. He might be blind but he knows a thing or two.]

[It's a minute before she can respond.]

Um...that 'welcome to kidnapper world' place. Where the scientists are?

I'm on my way okay? I move fast so I should be there soon.

[No way is he leaving her where she is right now.]

I'll be sure not to run off or anything.

[ Crisis humor during a crisis? Check.]

[He laughs softly and nods then hangs up. Because you can't really hold the thing and go wolf easily. But wolf is much faster for him to move in and he can rush through the city to get to the building where he stops to sniff the air for someone fallen. Finding her, he noses her a bit to check and see if she's still awake first.]

[whrrenah]

[ She's not out cold. Dozing, perhaps. And her cheek is on fire. But she stirs at the cold, wet nose. ]

Puppy...

[ She doesn't really move to brush the nose away or to try and pet the fur. ]

[Good. She's awake. Transforming into a very naked version of the man she's spoken to, he offers her a smile before grabbing her device and then gathering her into his arms so he can carry her. Not hard when he's a werewolf and much bigger than her really.]

I'm gonna get you somewhere safe, alright? Here's the thing they gave you.

[He sets that on her stomach near her hand.]

[ Oh! She's getting picked up? The change in orientation is dizzying and one arm instinctively loops around his neck. ]

Okay.

[ her other hand covers the device. And she rests her cheek on his collarbone. Had she noted he was naked? Probably not. But he's cooler than she is, at the moment and so she'll take it.]

I'm Silvio. What's your name?

[Just so he'll help her stay a little aware at least. Best to keep her talking until he's got her back to the forests and his camp.]

Wren'ah.

[ It sounds accented but not in the way other humans would say it. A little roll of the 'r', a little swallow on the 'n'. She doesn't even realize she did it. ]

They took me away. Why should I trust their hospitals?

I know it seems like a lot but the doctors are really good. And they can at least hold you over until I guess...a healer gets to you? I don't know.

There's a really nice doctor I know but he's in Yokohama... Look, is anyone getting you?

Scientists took me from my home. I can't trust them.

[It didn't matter that they were a little...okay, they were really lacking in real answers. Whether they were genuine or not, she wasn't going to stay with them. ]

I don't think... that many of the people they call 'refugees' do trust them, regardless of what they profess their intentions to be.

[Though Raphael is sometimes grateful to be here, he definitely does not hold any love for the NRL... They only seem to care about the refugees when they can get something out of them.]

[ Here sits a girl with bared shoulders and looking like she could use another week of sleep. There's a soft smile on her face as she waves slightly ]

Hello. I'm sorry I didn't catch this message sooner. It was a really big TKO with that illness.

But you're a healer? What type of medicine do you use?

[Admittedly, when he didn't get a reply, he had been concerned, but with no way to find where she was he had had to simply hope that someone else would. So when he gets this message from her he answers immediately with a bright and warm smile.]

Hello! Ah-- it's all right. I'm just happy to see you well.

[He's a genuine sort - it sounds like he really does mean it.]

And I just... heal. It's a skill that I have. I don't call it magic, but... I think most people would understand it as magic.

It's probably a good thing I didn't see this until my fever broke. I have this thing where I have severe reactions to magic that isn't my own or my family's.

Magic is merely a science that has yet to be explained. But yes, I'm doing better. Once the nerve pain is gone, I should be right as rain.
