[On the feed is what appears to be a young man, dark of skin and bright of eyes, however muted his tones are by the limitations of the video's color.

There is a nervous energy about him, though it does not parse as fearful.]



I am unusure... how many here cook as opposed to creating the sustenance they require, or purchasing it, as many seem to do here...

But if there are others who enjoy cooking, would you consider sharing recipes? I am... looking for some that utilize a particular ingredient, and... the recipes that are archived here are not organized in a way that facilitate my search.

I am not the greatest of cooks, although necessity, as they say, is a good teacher. Most of my recipes are things from my childhood, and... well. I do better with desserts. But I am happy to share what I know.

The one I know best is mother's honeycakes - they are simple enough to do, and forgiving of slight distraction. [ Which is the main reason he likes them, in honesty ]

Ah, garlic. Quite versatile. I've seen it sauteed with various vegetables. It can also be baked with butter into a savoury bread, or used as part of a sauce rubbed on to meat before being seared.
