So I get that there's a lot of wacky things going on with everyone this month, but I don't think this one's related.
Has anyone had a kizuna side effect just... not go away?
[From the sepia-toned video feed, Ranpo can be seen lounging on his side on a futon, a cat tail wagging behind him, despite no matching cat ears on top of his head.]
I've had this for a few days now, and it usually doesn't last more than an hour.
And before any of you say anything, it has nothing to do with the party yesterday night! It was like this before that!!
[Maybe he should have waited a few more days until after the orgy, but he's getting worried he'll be a catboy forever??]

I didn't think you'd want me right there while you were doing things.
[ He couldn't look her in the eyes in the bath, after all, and people are... well, they can be very weird about things and things are... different between them now than before and with his other self, not that that's stopped her from attempting to acquire certain observation related privileges where it concerns him, but... ]

[He doesn't sound very sure himself. Is that what he wanted her to do? Sure, it was kind of inevitable that she'd see him having sex if she watched over him at the orgy, but that doesn't mean he wanted her waiting around like a bodyguard to protect him from cruel or malicious partners the whole time, right?]
[Or maybe, given how protective she's been of him so far, he just assumed she would anyway. He can rationalize that her hearing would have enabled her to hear it if he called for help, so there was no need to watch him the whole time. But then, he wasn't in a position to do so the whole night. What if something bad had actually happened?]
[He's not sure why his thoughts are going in that direction, but after a moment, he hums and sets the magi-comm down, letting the camera just point at the ceiling.]
Or maybe I'm just still out of it. I didn't really sleep much last night when I got home.

I forgot the direction I was going with this so a wrap up!
[Ah. Maybe he should have asked for company last night, too. Clearly going home alone was a bad idea.]
Honestly, everything else aside, I could use some help going through and seeing what clothes I'll have to alter for the tail.
[And then Setsura came over and Ranpo was fine aside from the fact that he couldn't sit anywhere. So maybe a little company is all he needed to sort out his brain.]
