[Flushed, he takes Xiaoyu's bowl and hurries back into the kitchen. Once there, he fills a cup with cold water and drinks it, calming his racing heart. Then he ladles out more stew into the bowl and holds it, cupped in his hands as he returns to his guest.]

[ That smile never leaves him and he takes the bowl of stew once Xingchen comes back, giving a hum at the words and somehow keeping a straight face. ]
