[Duo doesn't actually reply. He just shuts down the feed and then Reno will get a text with the location of the bar he was sitting in already.

As well as a promise to have a drink ready and waiting for when he shows up.]

[And a short time later he did show up, strutting through the door and sitting down right next to him. He took the drink without asking as if he was totally entitled to it.]

[It was his so of course he was entitled to it. Duo had his own drink. The third one he'd had so far and he was halfway through that.]

[Not like he hadn't expected that he'd be walking into something. He might've acted airheaded at times, but he could be a smart cookie. Possibly baked in alcohol.

[The last was muttered darkly and punctuated by a deep drink of his beer.

He liked Reno. He would really rather not fight him. But if it came down to it he would...]

[Reno had been humbled by some people living here, but from what he knew of Duo, he doubted he had to worry much about fighting the boy. It almost seemed like he didn't hear the 'threat'. But, with Reno's lack of self-preservation, it was possible he'd have ignored it either way.]

Ah, one of those, huh? You can take the man outta the fight but you can't take the fight outta the man.

...Or woman. [Elena had been a little trigger happy.] Yeah, our group was going through something like that. Some people were adjusting better than others.

[Funny enough, he and Rude probably adjusted the best, and they definitely weren't in normal territory.]

[Fighting? No. Outright killing? Maybe. Duo was a pretty chill guy until he was pushed. And right now he was at a low point and really not in any mood for niceties.]

He's got this... honour and justice boner that's... usually somethin I admire. [Since he didn't have much in the way of that himself.] But makes him think he can go toe-to-toe with assholes with swords that're clearly overcompensating for tiny dicks, but these bastards are super powered. So he comes home to me battered.

And one of these damn times he won't come home at all. He'll pick a fight with the wrong dickless wonder and... [Duo sighed and downed the rest of his beer.] ... And then I'll have to burn this whole fucking town to the ground. And that'd be a shame. I kinda like it.

[It was weird because Reno might've done a little running around fighting people who were way overpowered himself. He'd definitely discovered that there were people out of his league, frustrating as it was.

It wasn't out of honor, though. It was just because he was a dick who liked fighting.

He wondered if Rude ever worried about him like that? Maybe not... His ear twitched a bit.]

I'm not sure I know the solution to that one. I can text my partner if you want to know what tricks he uses to deal with it.

[The only reply Sephiroth gets is the address to his house. He doesn't need to see him, but Wufei? Wufei needs him more, and that healing spell the guy could do.]

[ Sephiroth shows up at that place soon after, ready for anything. He knows firsthand how reckless Wufei can be and has given this some thought. There is an item from his homeworld he thinks might help which he brought with him too. ]

[Wufei wasn't expecting anyone, but when there's a knock, he's quick to get to the door and throw it open. He's hopeful... but it shifts to fear in a blink when he realizes who it is.] What is it? What's happened? Is Duo alright? [He's in just his house pants, a large bandage taped over his chest, which is no doubt the injury Duo had been talking about.]

Idiot. [ Sephiroth is nothing but honest and Wufei deserves it for several reasons. ] I'm here for you.

[ He puts his hand on the door and attempts to barge in. ]

[Wufei blinks, but stands aside as Sephiroth comes in, closing the door behind him.] Duo sent you? [Surely he wasn't mad enough to ask Sephiroth to knock sense into him literally...]
