[It was only a matter of time, he supposed, before one of the strange effects of this place happened to him. That doesn't mean he's pleased about it, however. Slightly paniced and quite annoyed, bordering on angry, would be a more accurate way to describe his current mental state.
He is currently glaring quite menacingly at his own reflection at the moment. At the two elk horns that has started to grow from his head, if you wanted to be precise about it.]
If anyone knows how to make these go away I would be very grateful for the assistance.
[His voice is level, almost emotionless, but there is an undercurrent af anger to be heard for those who knows him well enough. One of his ears twitch in annoyance and he notices that though it is still pointed it is now covered in a soft velvety fur now.]

[He actually finds that he does not mind this form so much now that he's tried it out for a bit. Not that he'd want to stay this way forever, mind you, but he could see himself using it every now and then.]
I think we should all be grateful there has only ever been one Curufin... I don't know? But I hope so, for now I'm kind of curious about how it would work.

[ The privilege of being the babies, he supposes ]
Oh very much so! [ Maglor snorts at the thought ] How he managed to produce such a darling boy as Celebrimbor I will never know. Mmm, me too. You really are sized for a surprising amount of damage! Once you work out how to turn back, I feel we should go looking.
no subject
[And he doubted they ever felt an ounce of regret for it either, the little scamps!]
A mystery for the ages that! [There is the distinct feeling of a laugh in the thoughts he sends his brother.] I am, I truly am! And imagine the terror I'd be on the battlefield with a skilled archer on my back as well. We should. This is too fascinating a subject to not explore.
no subject
[ Not often, because it hurts, but he wants to remember them as they were, not always as they became ]
Especially once they started going out and learning how to hunt.
[ THE NUMBER OF TIMES HE NEARLY HAD A HEART ATTACK BECAUSE ONE OF THEM 'STALKED' HIM.... ]
It is! I am now terribly hopeful we can find something. I don't know about anyone on your back though - wouldn't that impede the swing of the antlers?
[ ....................although he can't say he's not curious, now Maedhros has brought it up ]

[There's always a sharp pain that comes with thinking to often upon the past, but he does not wish to forget that they had all been happy once upon a time either. That there had been a time when they were young and innocent and not... not what they'd become afterwards.]
They did have an odd way of honing their skills...
[The first few times they'd tried the same on him he'd chucked them into a nearby pond... only to find it just emboldened them further. They were less amused when he hid all their hunting gear in retaliation, however, and he'd managed to make them swear to leave him out of that particular practice afterwards.]
Never let it be said we did not inherit father's inquisitiveness as well, little brother! Well, it would a bit, but I'd also gain an ally that can pick of enemies at a range as well... so it's all about weighing what would give me the greater advantage.
no subject
[ Maglor adds dryly ]
You are just lucky you're the favourite and they stopped bothering you swiftly!
[ He hums ]
That's true! Alas, with my hands I doubt I'm much of an archer any longer, else I'd offer to try. But perhaps my brother is thinking of a certain cousin~?
no subject
[He snorts in amusement.]
They stopped bothering me because unlike you I know both the best ways to bribe them as well as the best way to blackmail them into compliance~
[The privilege of being the oldest is that he's got a better idea on how to handle his younger brothers than most. It also helped that most of them had a certain amount of respect for him that kept them from taking things as far as they would with others.]
Ah... I certainly would not deny him should the opportunity arise...
[He suppose he should be grateful elks can't blush or he'd probably be doing so now.]
no subject
[ Although its not like Maglor also did not try the same ]
Uh huh. [ Maglor laughs at him ] That's what I thought~
no subject
[And he thinks he provided a good enough example even resorting to such tactics in the name of keeping the peace.]
...No use denying it is there? I've never been able to deny him anything.
no subject
[ he laughs ]
You are such a softy, Nelyo.
no subject
[Would it be to cause or hinder mischief is what he's trying to get at.]
Oh, shush you!
no subject
[ He laughs, as he is fully aware of what his brother means ]
Mmmm, will you blackmail me if I don't~?
no subject
[He knows his brothers well enough to know they need such restrictions.]
I could always bite you... or pick you up by the collar and dump you in a pond.
no subject
[ This is sadly very true ]
no subject
[He snorts in amusement and shakes his head a bit, being careful not to accidentaly poke Maglor with his antlers as he does so.]
no subject
[ Maglor half sings at him, opting to very carefully not poke the 'follow my example' part too closely and instead lingering on the play, dancing out of range of his brother's antlers ]
Oooh, you'll take an eye out~
no subject
[If elk's could chuckle he'd be doing so right now, but the sounds he does make sound unmistakably amused anyways.]
Oh you're right! I'll simply stomp on your foot instead, then~
no subject
[ He says virtuosly, which is obviously a lie ]
With your weight? You'll crush me~
no subject
[He was, after all, the responsible one.]
Just your toes~
no subject
[ Responsible? Yes. The one who the others all learnt their chaos from? Also yes~ ]
But what if I need my toes?
no subject
[Lies and slander! No one had ever been able to prove anything concerning the chaos he caused so he was never going to admit to having had any hand in teaching them their chaotic ways. But if he had, which he would absolutely deny to his dying day, he was very disappointed that not a one of them had learned how to cover their tracks better.]
That would be sad for you, I suppose~
no subject
[ or twice. Or... ahem never mind ]
When I was an adult! When I was a baby doesn't count! And it was targeted at Tyelko, anyway.
[ Look it takes TIME to learn to cover one's tracks appropriately, and it doesn't really work when the solution to your brother breaking your favourite harp is to play bagpipes outside his window at some ungodly hour ]
So mean~
no subject
It may have been targeted at Tyelko but he wasn't the only one that suffered from it...
[He thinks his brothers had had more than enough time to learn how to create some plausible deniability where their mischief was concerned. He also thinks that it would have been a better solution to simply break Tyelko's favorite bow in return for the broken harp, seemed a fair enough retaliation to him.]
The meanest~
no subject
Bagpipes are sadly non-targetable!
[ But Tyelko sleeps with the damn thing. Far better to wake him up early ]
So cruel to your beloved baby brother~
no subject
[Just knock him on his ass and run away with it? But to be fair Maedhros is probably the only one that could have pulled that off on that particular brother.]
Did you think the viscious streak of our family had somehow passed me by, little brother~
