[It was only a matter of time, he supposed, before one of the strange effects of this place happened to him. That doesn't mean he's pleased about it, however. Slightly paniced and quite annoyed, bordering on angry, would be a more accurate way to describe his current mental state.
He is currently glaring quite menacingly at his own reflection at the moment. At the two elk horns that has started to grow from his head, if you wanted to be precise about it.]
If anyone knows how to make these go away I would be very grateful for the assistance.
[His voice is level, almost emotionless, but there is an undercurrent af anger to be heard for those who knows him well enough. One of his ears twitch in annoyance and he notices that though it is still pointed it is now covered in a soft velvety fur now.]

........why weren't you afflicted then?
[ We are all grateful for your sacrifice etc ]
He seemed to like it, anyway. And I think Moryo was very pleased to no longer have to bear it.
no subject
Someone needed to keep their focus on practical matters, might as well be me I figured.
[You all better be! Have you ever tried to wrangle a bunch of artists before? It's like herding cat's!]
That he did! And I was very grateful for it at times, for Curvo did have a knack at distracting him. Moryo was extatic when Tyelko had someone else to bother, I think he almost cried for joy when it happened.
no subject
Were we really that bad? I thought I was quite good at managing...
[ He's cuter than a cat though, right? Right??? ]
He certainly seemed to be less grumpy - I don't know about crying for joy!
no subject
Not always. [He admits.] But you could all... get lost in your own heads at times. And when you all did so at the same time... things could get a bit tiring.
[Yes. He's more of a dog person, anyways.]
He looked on the verge of it the first day he went without Tyelko picking him up and spinning him about as he was wont to do. He absolutely hated that.
no subject
Oh I suppose it might be annoying...
[ wait does this mean that you like Huan more than him ]
I didn't notice that... I suppose I should have spent more time with him...
[ But sadly, Caranthir finds music practice also very annoying ]
no subject
A bit.
[Huan has never needed him to remind him to eat... or sleep. But he also leaves fur everywhere...]
I had it handled for the most part. I'm not so sure Moryo would have liked anyone else seeing him being manhandled like that.
[Their little brother was very particular about his dignity like that.]
no subject
You say that like you mean A Lot
[ .........................is that a yes ]
True! He did like his personal space!
[ His occasionally Very Large personal space ]
no subject
...Depending on the circumstances I might be.
[...Depends on which one of them had caused him more trouble at any given moment.]
That he did! And Tyelko always enjoyed invading it!
[They all had their quirks, didn't they?]
no subject
I will be on my best behaviour?
[ RUDE ]
I don't think Tyelko understood what 'personal space' meant, in fairness
no subject
Promise?
[True, though...]
If he did he probably considered it a useless concept anyways.
no subject
Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine I promise.
[ HUFF ]
I don't understand how Curvo tolerated it, but I suppose he must have liked it...
no subject
Good.
[No need to get all huffy about it.]
Curvo always did enjoy getting attention. Understandable, I suppose, what with having to deal with so very many brothers...
no subject
Blackmailed into behaving, such a cruel and merciless older brother!
[ He can be huffy if he wants to! ]
I suppose. I never really wanted it the way he did, but then, I am older...
[ and had a Craft that provided All The Attention that anyone could ever want ]
no subject
I truly am a diabolical mastermind at times, aren't I?
[Sure he can, but it would be rather silly of him to be so.]
You didn't have four older brothers to contend with.
[He himself had not been too concerned with the amount of attention he was getting. He had gotten his fill when he was still an only child and he'd been old enough to not mind sharing it when his brothers started to arrive.]
no subject
The worst.
[ Maglor agrees cheerfully and fluffs all his feathers before settling ]
I only had one! The best and brightest of us, Nelyo. Also I wonder how long I'm stuck like this. Do you think I could try and turn back?
no subject
Absolutely.
[He agrees with equal cheer.]
Just the one, and one that had inherited some of mothers patience when it comes to young children to boot. No idea... I don't think it would hurt to try, do you?
no subject
The things I do for you, Nelyo~
[ All the things, both great and terrible ]
I wish I had some experience in shape-changing beforehand... how do the Maia do it, I wonder?
no subject
Yes, yes, I am such an unreasonable fellow when it comes to the demands I make of my dear brothers. However do you put up with me, I wonder?
[But mostly terrible, considering their unfortunate history...]
I... I don't know? I think they just want the change and it just sort of come naturaly to them... maybe?
[He's never really thought about it much.]
no subject
Only because we looooooooove you~
[ Ssssh, happy thoughts ]
Hm. Suddenly I am wondering if Elrond and Elros actually did do any shapeshifting, as it might have given us some ideas. Other people make it look so easy!
no subject
Good thing that I looooove you tooo then~
[Yes, better not jinx it by being too pessimistic.]
It's hard to tell. Children tend to change quite a bit whilst growing up, even when there is no shapechanging involved.
no subject
True enough. Maybe if I just... think about hands...?
[ How does shapeshift ]
no subject
[Maedhros says, though he does not sound altogether certain about the statement.]
no subject
[ This is far harder than the long term residents make it look .... ]
Thinking about... playing music with hands?
[ And Maglor is abruptly elven again ]
Oh thank goodness it worked!
no subject
[Maedhros exclaims as Maglor returns to his own shape again. Not that he wouldn't have loved his brother if he'd been stuck as a bird for the rest of time, he's just... relived it did not come to that.]
no subject
[ Maglor pats himself down - as nice as the skritches were, being able to actually TALK again is pretty awesome ]
I don't feel very birdy, and the itching is gone...

SAME no chicken should be that big lol
They really shouldn't, chickens can be enough of a menace when they are small
agreed. Velociraptors clearly did not go extint they just got domesticated
