[Gaura is honestly rather used to getting lost. He's been fired from enough jobs for being late to work because of it, after all. So now he feels like maybe that happened here? Yes, he's had everything explained to him but that certainly hasn't stopped the confusion.

But after going in circles for several hours he's finally discovered this feature and he's giving it a go.]

Hi there. [He gives a smile. A look he's figured out is usually the thing to get someone to help.]

Could someone help me out? I seem to have lost my way to my apartment and nothing is really looking that familiar. Is Koreatown familiar to anyone at least?

You can reach most of them by train. There are different sorts of places where you can live with others or by yourself.

Nice to meet you, Gaura. My name is Silver. Henry Silver. I've only been here a few months, but I'm happy to help if I can.

I don't really have anyone to room with here since you're the first person I've officially met. But maybe one day.

[It would be less lonely that way for sure. His cheeks color just a little and he looks down.]

You're very nice, Henry. If it isn't too much trouble would you mind if we met up? Maybe walking with you to one of the buildings will help me figure out where they are.

(( Of course, he smiles and ducks his head a little at the compliment. ))

I wouldn't mind that at all. You could stay with me until you find something you like. There's a spare room in the apartment I'm in.

[pinkblinded]

[His eyes go wide with surprise and he lifts his head up. Clearly that's not an offer he was expecting at all.]

Really? You don't mind?

[inthewood]

It's been somewhat lonely. I'm not accustomed to living by myself.

[pinkblinded]

[His face lights up.]

Thank you. I'll keep my space clean and I won't cause problems.

[inthewood]

(( Silver's pretty happy. He hopes, after the fact, that he doesn't come off like some kind of creep. But, the truth is, he has been a little lonely since arriving in Nippon and it suits him just as much as it helps Gaura to offer up the free space in the apartment he has. ))

I will... try to keep my mess contained. I'm a scholar of the strange and unusual, so I've been taking a lot of notes since arriving.

The strange and unusual?

[That's a pretty broad spectrum of things. So he has to question it.]

(( He nods to affirm the statement. ))

Creatures that are mythical, magical, and generally the stuff of legend. I've actually met a dragon here!

A real dragon?

[He's read books about them but they don't exist! Except here apparently that's not the case.]

May I ask you more about your studies when you get here?

[inthewood]

A very real dragon!

(( He's giddy just thinking about it!

Silver's obviously moving through his flat, probably searching for his shoes so he can meet Gaura where he is. ))

Of course! I'm always happy to discuss my work.

[Looking around, he finds somewhere to sit so it'll be easier to find him rather than him just continuing to wander around.]

Your work sounds so amazing. I've never gotten to do anything like study myths and legends or even magic.

It's my family's tradition. What sort of things do you study?

[pinkblinded]

Well I've never been to college... [Never finished high school actually.]

But I like to learn music. And I like to learn about plants. I had a lot of them at home. There's something so nice about both. Where you can forget that you're alone and that they will always be there. Music and plants.

[inthewood]

(( Something wistful comes over his features and he stills for a moment. Only a quick moment before he's moving again, door closing behind him. ))

I understand. I like plants.

[pinkblinded]

I picked pink like a flower for my hair actually.

[He laughs softly and looks around him.]

I like them a lot though. I've learned so much about different plants and I've learned to play several instruments.

[inthewood]

Really? I only know the guitar. I have one at the apartment. You could play it if you like.

[pinkblinded]

[He immediately looks back down at the screen with a smile on his face.]

If it won't bother you while you work then I could play for you to help you concentrate.

[inthewood]

It's no bother.

(( He looks off screen and perks up at the sight of pink hair. in the distance. ))

I think I see you!

[pinkblinded]

I'll play for you then.

[At the mention of the man seeing him, he starts to look around. However, he's not spotting him among the faceless people around him. Frowning a little, he tries to recall some details about Henry's hair and clothes as he keeps looking.

At one point he definitely looks right at the man without recognition before turning his head to look the other direction.]

You see me?

(( Well, it's not like he can expect a total stranger to pick him out of a crowd. Though he doesn't wear the common garb of the people who live here (no, he much prefers his perfectly fitted Victorian suits) so he stands a little just in terms of that. He smiles brightly and waves his free hand as he comes nearer. ))

[pinkblinded]

[There's someone waving. But he doesn't know what that means. Is it Henry? Is it a stranger for someone else? Trying to hide his mild distress, he looks back down at his screen. There's Henry. He's waving.

Face lighting up with relief, he stands up to face the waving figure to give a little wave of his own.]

[inthewood]

(( Ah, good! He wasn't waving like a fool at the wrong person. Silver tucks his device in his jacket pocket as he approaches and holds out hand. ))

I'm Henry Silver. Nice to meet you in person.

[pinkblinded]

[Taking the hand, he gives it a shake. Hearing his voice helps too. This really is the right person. Despite looking at Henry's face though, Gaura never seems to make eye contact.]

It's nice to meet you in person. I'm Gaura. Thank you for letting me live with you.

[inthewood]

It's really no trouble at all! It's been too quiet all alone.

(( Silver nods in direction he came from. ))

It's not far from here. Would you like to get something to eat first?
