[Gaura is honestly rather used to getting lost. He's been fired from enough jobs for being late to work because of it, after all. So now he feels like maybe that happened here? Yes, he's had everything explained to him but that certainly hasn't stopped the confusion.

But after going in circles for several hours he's finally discovered this feature and he's giving it a go.]

Hi there. [He gives a smile. A look he's figured out is usually the thing to get someone to help.]

Could someone help me out? I seem to have lost my way to my apartment and nothing is really looking that familiar. Is Koreatown familiar to anyone at least?

I was kind of hoping I stumbled into some carnival or something. I guess that means I'm homeless again.

Oh, no! They provide housing to us. There are several choices if you need help getting there or deciding.

I guess I'll have to find my way to one of those places. At least I won't be homeless!

[He would have managed but this is a relief to say the least.]

You can reach most of them by train. There are different sorts of places where you can live with others or by yourself.

I don't really have anyone to room with here since you're the first person I've officially met. But maybe one day.

[It would be less lonely that way for sure. His cheeks color just a little and he looks down.]

I wouldn't mind that at all. You could stay with me until you find something you like. There's a spare room in the apartment I'm in.

[Says the man who looks like he is from a Chinese historical fantasy drama.]

I was kind of afraid of that. That people wouldn't be familiar with it.

[But that's okay. He's used to having to start over again. He's had to do it so many times in the past few years...]

[Turning the camera around, he does a slow turn so he can show where he is to the person on the other end.]

Do you realize you have journeyed to a new world, friend?

[That's the first step! Xingchen picks up on the surroundings he is shown and nods.]

[Then he must decide whether to travel as a rabbit, a swan or on his sword. He eventually decides on using his Shuanghua, cutting travel time in half.

That pink hair is noticeable!]

I'm afraid I didn't ask for your name...?

I do now. They told me but I thought maybe I got lost again and stumbled on a festival or something.

[But it's true so he's accepting it. Looking around, he finds a spot to sit so that way he won't be tempted to wander away.]

We do have festivals too, but they will likely differ from what you are accustomed to seeing.

[Xingchen approaches him and gives him a formal bow, his arms linked in a half-circle before him.]

And I am Xiao Xingchen. Welcome, Gaura. Let's find you a place to stay, hm?

[Though the man approaches him, Gaura doesn't seem to recognize him at all and even tenses a little. It's not until he hears his name that he relaxes, realizing who this is. Offering a smile, he stands up to offer a clumsy bow of his own to be polite based on the fact that this must be Xingchen's culture.]

Thank you. I'm grateful. I'll find a way to repay you later. I promise.

[Unless he draws his sword, Xingchen is one of the least intimidating people Gaura will likely meet. He smiles at the returned bow and motions for the other man to follow him.]

There are apartments meant for us this way. They have maps of the city, too.

I'm not always the best at following maps. I try to look for signs but sometimes it's hard to recognize turns...

[He's done a lot of research on his condition since running away from home. So he knows that it's part of having it. But it doesn't really make things easier.]

Back home I've been fired from a lot of jobs for being late to work because I kept getting lost.

That's what I've heard. I'd sort of hoped I was just lost but it seems I'm more than that.

[It could be worse though so he can't complain.]

I'm Gaura. There's some people who have offered to help me. Which is good because I'm bad with directions.

[He laughs a little.]

Do you have any other questions? Need any help? I've been here a while now and have things pretty figured out, I think.

Um...I guess I should ask what jobs are available here. I'm going to need to get one since I don't know how long I'll be here.

[Gaura tilts his head thinking a moment.]

I'm not sure what else I'd need help with at least. Unless...do you know if these devices have GPS? To give directions?

What'd you do where you came from? There are plenty of options here.

They do. You can also send your location to people and stuff like that.

I've done a number of things. Waiting tables, cleaning, shopkeeping, barista... Whoever would hire me. Getting lost easily means I have trouble keeping jobs.

[It's not easy admitting that but he knows it's better to be honest. Eyes widening at the GPS revelation, he wonders where the feature is. He'll have to look for it.]

I don't want to inconvenience people by having to ask them to come help me all the time. So if I can use GPS to travel that will help so much.

You could always clean my house. There's like four people living here and I don't really have time to do it since I work and well... we could use a cleaner. We're kind of weird though. So that could be a gig for you if you want it.

There are all kinds of shops, bars, and the club I dance at is always hiring dancers, bartenders, waiters and other staff.
