He is currently glaring quite menacingly at his own reflection at the moment. At the two elk horns that has started to grow from his head, if you wanted to be precise about it.]

If anyone knows how to make these go away I would be very grateful for the assistance.

[His voice is level, almost emotionless, but there is an undercurrent af anger to be heard for those who knows him well enough. One of his ears twitch in annoyance and he notices that though it is still pointed it is now covered in a soft velvety fur now.]

[ Maglor fluffs at him pointedly and then settles under the skritch with a happy coo ]

Only a bit. It is an older brothers perogative to be a bit of a meanie from time to time.

[He says with amusement as he keeps gently petting and skritching his bird shaped brother.]

Not much fireworks where I live, which makes my own dog happy

I don't know about that... my currently feathered brother is pretty fair competition for that title.

[ He fluffs happily up at him, still singing ]

Not so. Without my bright and talented brothers by my side I would have been a much lesser man.

[ He snorts in amusement, which sounds very odd in a bird ]

I don't know, I feel like Celegorm and Curufin might have mostly just made things difficult.

Well... they certainly had a knack for making me look more reasonable by comparison?

[It's not like it's a lie, exactly. Everyone looked more reasonable than they were next to those two.]

I'm pretty sure that's true of everyone

[ Maglor echoes dryly ]

I sometimes don't know how I would have put up with them, if they hadn't been my dear brothers.

But it's especially true for me because I'm related to them. People expect me to be just as bad.

[Not entirely true, but not exactly a lie either.]

Something I might have mused on myself a couple of times.

[Most notably after the whole Luthien debacle. He'd even wondered if perhaps he'd been adopted or misplaced during birth, because there was no way he could be related to two such imbeciles.]

I'm related to them too, you know! Did you know, people think I'm the nice one? I suppose in comparison to them...

[ He presses close, since he has no arms to hug him ]

I'm glad you put up with all of us.

[He gathers his brother close with a gentle hand, mindful of his fragile bones in this form.]

I don't think I have it in me to do otherwise, brother, not even if you all had been ten times as troublesome as you were.

[ Maglor snorts, which sounds more like a sneeze in his current form ]

I so am not, I'm pretty sure that's YOU, mother-hen

[ He loves hugs, and demands to be turned back right now so he can give them properly ]

And this is why you're the nice one.

Not a mother-hen!

[He denies vehemently. But he knows in his heart there's a kernel of truth to the statement.

And it doesn't stop his gentle way of handling his brother in this shape either.]

[ He bobs up and down in a laugh ]

My dear, darling, precious, favourite older brother, if you were any more of a mother-hen you would grow feathers, not antlers. And I might be the nice one compared to Tyelko, but definitely not in comparison to you!

You would get the same from our brothers, I'm sure. Although perhaps with more insults thrown in!

I'll graciously accept your compliment then, since it would be uncouth of me to do otherwise.

[He says with a show of great seriousness, though the way his mouth keeps twitching as if he's holding back laughter might somewhat ruin the look he was going for.]

I'm sure. Especially when it comes to the insults, but I know that's just the way most of them express affection so I'm not too offended by that habit of theirs.
