[It was only a matter of time, he supposed, before one of the strange effects of this place happened to him. That doesn't mean he's pleased about it, however. Slightly paniced and quite annoyed, bordering on angry, would be a more accurate way to describe his current mental state.

He is currently glaring quite menacingly at his own reflection at the moment. At the two elk horns that has started to grow from his head, if you wanted to be precise about it.]

If anyone knows how to make these go away I would be very grateful for the assistance.

[His voice is level, almost emotionless, but there is an undercurrent af anger to be heard for those who knows him well enough. One of his ears twitch in annoyance and he notices that though it is still pointed it is now covered in a soft velvety fur now.]

[ He preens his brother's hair, fussing around the antlers ]

[He hums and closes his eyes.]

I suppose I shouldn't worry you by not resting when I should.

[ He bobs up and down ]

Yes! Rest is good for you.

Mmm. How lucky I am to have such a dedicated little brother.

[There is a smile playing on his lips.]

Alright, Kano, I'll rest for a bit. Don't try to fly around while I do, however, I don't want you accidentaly hurting yourself if I'm not awake and there to help you.

[ He fluffs up in indignation ]

I won't fall!

[ He made it all the way to your shoulder!!! He can absolutely fly around by himself!!!! ]

[He cracks one eye open to fix his brother with a glare.]

No flying unless I'm awake to supervise.

[For all he knew even if Maglor had no trouble flying some great big flying predator might swoop down to make a meal of him.]

[ He pecks irritably at his brother's antlers ]

I can fly!

You've barely even spent an hour being a raven, Kano, I don't think it is much of an insult to tell you to be careful and take things slow.

[Though, perhaps, considering that they were a family of overachievers it might as well be.]

[ If Maedhros ever wanted to see a raven sulk, he's now gotten his wish. Maglor is a bristly ball of feathers in his indignation ]

I can be careful and still fly!

[Frankly adorable in his opinion. Who knew a sulky bird could be so cute.]

Please? For my sake?

[Because playing fair is for people who grew up in smaller families, Maedhros has nothing against using a little emotional manipulation if it means keeping his brothers away from harm.]

[ So sulky. Emotional manipulation is cheating ]

[If it works, it works and Maedhros is not going to discard a winning strategy just because it might be a little ethicaly iffy.]

[ He preens his hair again in forgiveness, although he's still all puffed up ]

[If his cruelty keeps his brothers safe he is content to be cruel.]

I know it's silly of me to worry, I know you can look after yourself but it's a bit nervewracking when you are so very small at the moment.

[There's a soft, amused smile playing at his lips at the sight of his brother so puffed up in indignation.]

[ HUFF!! ]

I looked after myself for long enough to think that I am fine...

[ But he settles in on his brother's shoulder all the same ]

But you are so much smaller now, Kano, and unused to this new body of yours.

[There's really nothing Maglor can say or do to make him stop worrying about this.]

[ Such a worrywart of a brother he has ]

I can learn! And it isn't permanent...

[The biggest worrywart there is, both litteraly and figuratively.]

I know, I know... I'd just feel better if I was there to supervise as you did so.

[ Maglor huffs a sigh, and at his size this means his whole body moves, which he is not aware is objectively adorable, sadly ]

I'll stay here until you're rested, I promise.

Thank you, Kano. It does soothe my nerves to hear you say that.

[It is very adorable to see, but he will be kind enough not to point it out. Though there is a little smile tugging at his lips at the sight.]

[ He can see that smile, and he pecks a bit at his brother's ear ]

[He laughs as he waves Maglor away from his poor abused ear.]
